A 23-year-old man was seriously injured yesterday, Tuesday July 9, when two cars and two motorbikes collided at the intersection of Victoria and Brighton roads in Kraaifontein.
ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring he said his team and Cape Town Fire Services arrived on the scene just after 8am to find two light motor vehicles and a motorcycle in the middle of the road while another motorbike was found on the side of the road.
“The 23-year-old man was found lying a few metres away from his bike in the middle of the road. Medics on the scene assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries to his legs.
“The man was treated and thereafter transported to Tygerberg Hospital for urgent care,” Mr Meiring said.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations, he said.
