Brackenfell police arrested a 21-year-old Goodwood man at a roadblock in Okavango Road, on Thursday morning September 8, for dealing and possession of drugs.
Officers spotted a passenger toss a bag out of the vehicle’s window as it approached the roadblock at about 2.45am. Brackenfell police spokeswoman Erica Crous said the bag contained a sachet of cocaine; eleven ecstasy tablets; 12 MDMA (a raw form of ecstasy) tablets; LSD and dagga with a small dagga pipe.
Brackenfell SAPS’s K9 unit positively identified the drugs, which had an estimated street value of R1 800.
The young man was arrested on four counts of drug dealing and four counts of possession.
