The Wynberg Rotary Club’s annual charity fund-raiser Last Night of the Proms will take place at the City Hall on Saturday March 16, at 7pm, and Sunday March 17, at 5pm. The theme this year is “A Spanish fiesta, olé”. Conductor Richard Cock has composed a programme of classics with soloist baritone Bongani Kubheka joining him on stage alongside the Proms orchestra and massed choirs. James Grace will be on guitar for his second appearance on the Last Night of the Proms stage while soprano Louise Howlett and Carli Bresser’s Spanish dancers will also take part.
