A Night at the Opera

■ Con Spirito Philharmonic presents A Night at the Opera on Saturday May 26, at the Dutch Rerformed Church Uitsig, Mountain View Drive, Ridgeworth, at 7.30pm. Guests will be treated to arias, duets, and ensembles from famous operas with a full orchestra and choir. These include Habanera from Carmen, Nessun Dorma from Turandot, Non piu andrai from The Marriage of Figaro and the rousing, Brindisi from La Traviata. The soloists are Lauren Dasappa, pictured, Violina Anguelov, Given Nkosi and Garth Delport with Sjoerd Alkema as conductor.
